  • Dr. Jim Hassinger Veterinarian
    Dr. Jim Hassinger Dr. Hassinger is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been actively practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years. In 2003, Dr. Hassinger narrowed his focus and opened Hassinger Equine Service in Aberdeen, NC as a sports medicine and performance centered practice dedicated to equine lameness, performance management, rehabilitation and imaging. "There has always been a need for a referral sports medicine and imaging clinic, run by "horse people," to support the efforts of equine veterinarians across the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee." Dr. Hassinger is an active rider both at Hassinger Farm and at shows along the East Coast.
  • Amy Hassinger Marketing/Advertising/Practice Management
    Amy Hassinger Amy Hassinger is a graduate of Park University with a degree in Management and Finance. Her years of experience as a rider, trainer, stable manager and farm owner complement Hassinger Equine's focus as a full service sports medicine and rehabilitation practice. Together, she and Dr. Hassinger are developing a practice focused on the practical needs of horse owners, riders and trainers. When not working in clinic, she is involved with THE HASSINGER GROUP as an equine market specialist. The Hassinger Group offers consulting services for veterinary based rehabilitation, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies. The clinic provides an excellent backdrop to study products, perform research, consult on development and advise on equine based marketing.
